About Us

Welcome to the Mason County Day Report Center! Our goal is to provide substance abuse treatment services to individuals in the community. Our services are available to everyone and are not limited to court orders. We offer several classes. In addition, we coordinate community service opportunities throughout the county. We take pride in assisting individuals getting into inpatient/outpatient rehab, detox centers, NA meetings, or any other treatment needed. Our services are not limited, and we are happy to help or point them in the right direction to get them the help they need.

Classes

MRT

This is a 12-step group class that is taught by Chris Summers on Tuesdays 10-11 AM. The term "moral" refers to moral reasoning  based on Kohlberg's levels of cognitive reasoning.  The word "reconation" comes from the psychological terms "conative" and "conation," both of which refer to the process of making conscious decisions.  MRT is a cognitive-behavioral treatment system that leads to enhanced moral reasoning, better decision making, and more appropriate behavior.

Relapse Prevention

This is a class instructed by Chris Summers on Tuesdays at 11 AM to 12 PM. The goal is to prevent relapse to alcohol and drug use and to criminal behaviors. This group is guided by “The Relapse Prevention Workbook for the Criminal Offender.”

Untangling Relationships

This class will be instructed by Casey Hogg on Thursdays at 2 pm. The program directly confronts the key issues of codependency, including manipulation and dependent relationships. Untangling Relationships is targeted towards substance abusers, criminals, and those involved in domestic violence or dysfunctional relationships.

Parenting

This class is instructed by Michaela Hogg. The class focuses on enhancing parenting practices and behaviors, such as developing and practicing positive discipline techniques, learning age-appropriate child development skills and milestones, promoting positive play and interaction between parents and children

BIPPS

Nathaniel Roub teaches this class on Wednesdays at 4:30.  BIPP offers educational courses to people who have displayed violent, abusive, and controlling behavior in their intimate relationships and family life.
